The European Citizens’ Initiative VEGAN MEAL asks for a law to make easier access to the vegan alternative, i.e. that the vegan alternative has to be guaranteed in the sale of food and drinks to the public, with the awareness of the change in society, economy, and the environment that we generate choosing vegan food. Aspects that we believe are positive, non- discriminatory, and non-harmful, in line with the transition to a more sustainable diet.

1. Vegan Meal

Vegan meal always available everywhere for vegan people, for those who would like to become vegan, for those who respect the right to the vegan alternative and to take action for climate change.

2. Vegan Storage

Vegan food has to be seprately stored from food of animal origin to respect the compassionate sensibility of vegan people that prefer sustainable plant-based food.

3. Sustainability

Eat vegan to tackle climate change avoiding animal explotation. Vegan for future with plant-based food: less pollution, respect of animal rights and less use of resources.

4. Vegan Education

Encouraging people to enjoy daily plant-based food with information, courses, recipes, researches, investigations and tips related to why vegan means a better world for people, animals and the environment.

5. Vegan-friendly

Kindness for all the animals, because they are living, feeling creatures who might suffer. Instead of raising and killing animals for food, clothing or other such uses, support plant-based food including pet food.

6. Food System

Goverment policies aimed at lowering prices of fruit and vegetables, supporting financially the vegan transition and raising awarness about climate change, loss of biodiversity, deforestation and water pollution.

The Europen Citizens’ Initiative VEGAN MEAL for those who are vegan, for those who would like to become vegan, for those who respect the right to the vegan alternative and to take action for climate change offering an easier access to plant-based food to the EU consumers in their daily life as well as supporting vegan education, plant-food producers, including vegan pet food producers, and promoting the right to protect and take care of pets, wild animals, fruit trees and trees.
